Tools We Do Not Use
Dreamweaver/Cold Fusion
We have never worked with either of these popular Macromedia (now Adobe) Web development programs. Mostly because we prefer to hand-code HTML/CSS and use PHP for application logic. Cold Fusion is a costly package best suited to large-scale enterprise application development. EON Webware prefers to concentrate on small companies and creative artists. Dreamweaver, also quite expensive, is unnecessary for those who can do their own coding. We find the constant need to upgrade such programs to be annoying and costly as well.
FrontPage
We never have and never will work with Microsoft's FrontPage. If your current site was created in FrontPage, we will start over from scratch, because FrontPage creates exceptionally poor quality HTML code. We will not maintain FrontPage-driven sites because we will not use the program, and any clean-up we do by hand will probably mess up FrontPage.
In addition, as with so many of Microsoft's products, FrontPage sites are constantly being probed for security holes, and eventually someone finds one. If your hosting provider is too late with a Microsoft patch, your site may be the victim.
C+/C++/C#
Sorry, we do not use any flavor of the C programming language.
Java/J++/J#
We will help find a good Java developer if you need one, and will be happy to work in conjunction with them to integrate any Java project with the rest of your desktop or Web application. We can debug some common Java problems, but do not do Java development.
.NET
We could do .NET (Microsoft's Web development suite); we have it installed, but there has been little call for it. It writes bloated code, as well.
